About Us

Currently we offer over a hundred different types of candles with different wax and scent combinations. I've weeded out the best from the worst and kept what people really like. I use pure raw beeswax in my candles with no additives. The bees aren't smoked upon removal so you are left with the lightest honey scent (sometimes very hard to notice, depending on the pollen count and the different seasons.)

My soy wax comes from soybeans grown in the US. By purchasing a beeswax or soy candle you are supporting the US economy and farmers. Soy candles tend to burn longer than paraffin and lack the chemicals that can cause some cancers. Beeswax burns the longest of any waxes and again, has no additives unless you are adding a pure plant based essential oil.

More about me

Kim

I truly hope that you will enjoy my candles as much as I enjoy making them! I use only organic and USA Soy & Beeswax to make my candles as well as the purest essential oil and natural ingredients. My wicks are pure cotton and zinc free and my essential oils and fragrance oils are always phthalate free. I strive to make my soy candles and beeswax candles as natural as can be so they are safe to use around children and pets.

For most of my life, I tried to find and release the artist within. My family is very talented with art, painting and crafts. These skipped me so I had to find my own way to express myself. I love telling stories and digital design. When I make my candles, the scents take me away to places that I'd like to be. (Anything tropical and I'm on the beach!)

We were blessed with our first child in 2014, after many years of trying, loss and fertility hurdles. I had worked for UPS for about 10 years and decided it was time for me to change my career. This gave me the perfect opportunity to take a chance and open up my store, so I can stay at home with my child (and more babies someday, I hope!) Sebastian has a speech delay and is on the autism spectrum so he requires a lot of therapy and guidance each day.

Making candles requires patience, creativity and knowledge of chemistry. Factors like altitude and humidity and certain steps have to be taken at the right moment to make a great candle and after a very long time I feel I have nearly perfected my method to make some of the best candles you will ever use. I sincerely hope you enjoy your candle and visit me often!

I have been making and selling candles online from July 2015. I sell on Etsy and Amazon Handmade. I currently live in Saint Charles, Missouri. We relocated here from Alabama in 2017 and absolutely love our new home.
